Post-doctoral position: Investigation of novels switchable hybrid heterostructures with tunable electronic, magnetic and optical properties

In the framework of the LabEx AMADEus, a 12 month postdoctoral fellowship is available to work on the preparation and physico-chemical study of tunable organic/inorganic ferroelectric composite materials. In particular, the successful candidate will use the organometallic particles developed at ICMCB and embed them in functional polymers studied at LCPO in order to study the properties of those new hybrid material.

To fill this position, we are seeking for a talented physical-organic chemist interested in the synthesis of particles by coordination chemistry, the formulation of the composite systems, and the study of their physico-chemical properties. The successful candidate will have access to fully equipped laboratories for the synthesis and characterization of the materials and to state of the art facilities for manufacturing and characterizing the devices. Sample preparation and physical characterizations will benefit from the cutting-edge experimental methodologies available at the ELORPrinTec platform for organic electronics. The initial duration of the fellowship is 12 months, which may be renewed upon securing additional funding.

2 300 €/month (neto)

Localisation: The candidate will be located at the ICMCB laboratory at the University of Bordeaux, France. He/She will be working in strong collaboration with the LCPO laboratory.
